For this project the agency customer reached out to us with the idea to build a social hub where users could submit videos via webcam or companion mobile apps to share their own personal “My Why” stories for Truliant Credit Union. The hope, and a chance to win one of several $25k prizes. The goal was to develop awareness in the region with a digital campaign with a hopefully viral aspect. Phalanx designed and developed an application where users could submit video or image content via hashtag on their social channels or via the website and mobile apps and then share the content to get votes with friends. Shares, Likes, Comments, Favorites, Retweets and votes on the site itself all counted for the user to win. This was heavy social media API integration on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as well as two native mobile apps for iOS and Android. The microsite did streaming webcam records and pushed to youtube for content as well.
